The Royal Chapel of Granada houses the remains of Don Fernando de Aragón, Doña Isabel de Castilla, Doña Juana I, Don Felipe I, and the Infante Miguel. It is intricately linked to the Cathedral without merging into its architecture.

Construction was commissioned in 1504, with works executed between 1505 and 1517 in a Gothic Isabelline style. It is built with a single nave covered by Gothic vaults and adorned thanks to the generous donation of the Catholic Monarchs.

Its interior highlights include an elaborately gilded wrought iron screen representing scenes of Christ's Passion and Resurrection on its upper part, along with depictions of the life and martyrdom of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist, topped by a calvary.

In the center lie the royal tombs, and a set of small stairs lead to the crypt where lead coffins containing the remains of the royal family are located.
